I am really excited to be returning
to Guatemala June 2014 with GRACE project and Genelle and Linda I will be traveling with a project partner of the Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva, the GRACE project (Guatemalan Rural Adult and Children's Education). Each day I will try to 'post photos on this page. If you want to really follow the story, then click on the right to read the daily blog. We will be visiting a few of the same places as we did last year and a few new villages. As in previous years, Genelle will be conducting training with a few hand picked facilitators. Then they along with Genelle, supported by helper bees Gini and Linda, will conducts teachers' workshops in four separate new locations. We are introducing a new project called Leyes Para la Paz or Laws for Peace that will inform participants about human rights laws that exist but are virtually unknown. |
